Gabriela L. Lopez

Ms. Lopez is originally from the Rio Grande Valley. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Texas A&M University. After college, Ms. Lopez graduated magna cum laude from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Ms. Lopez clerked in various legal environments to create a well-rounded law school experience. She clerked for Justice Sarah Beth Landau of the First Court of Appeals and U.S. District Judge Jason Pulliam of the Western District of Texas.  Ms. Lopez is also a former law clerk of Israel Perez Law. Because of her passion for access to justice, she clerked for a legal services organization focused on advocating for children with special needs and volunteered for her school’s pro bono immigration clinic.

During her final year of law school, Ms. Lopez proudly served as President of the Hispanic Law Students Association. This 150-member organization largely consisted of first-generation college and law students. She empowered members to succeed in law school and beyond by providing mentorship, networking, scholarship, and internship opportunities.

Ms. Lopez is a member of Texas Trial Lawyers Association and San Antonio A&M Club. Outside of work, she is active in her church, enjoys spending time with family, and loves doing a good jigsaw puzzle.
